Visitation rights for a Dad ?:

Ok yes I hope I get the hang of this, yes at the moment I am just trying to get some stable visitation rights for my daughter, as the only time I get to see her is 30 each morning.  Once I find out what my options are legally I will try for more thanks again

Visitation rights for a Dad ?:

Thanks alot Katie I am using my cousin computor at the moment and she has set this up for me just to get some legal advice, thanks for posting my comment on another topic site thanks.  Yes the school has to involve itself somewhat in this situation because child services has contacted the school, and the school has told child services that I have been nothing but co-operative, my childs school have told me not to stop volunteering in my childs class.  My ex wife acutually came to drop my daughter off to class one morning and saw that I was there and grabbed my daughter and dragged her out of class and swore at the teacher because I was there, and she grabbed my daughter by the arm, yanked her up, my daughter then began to cry and my ex wife grabbed her and they left.  The next morning she saw me again in the carpark and she turned the car around and took my daughter home.  Last week my daughter was absent 3 days out of the 4 day week, I still continued to help in my daughters class.  I am really in need of some legal advice, just of what to do with getting some stable visitation rights for my daughter.  I dont care if she keeps everything weve worked so hard for, I just want to be able to see my daughter.  Any legal advice would be greatly received, thanks

Visitation rights for a Dad ?:

No there are no court orders in place but she has reported me child services and told them I have done awful things to my daughter which are totally UNTRUE, I was meant to have her for the weekend and when I went to pick her up from school, my daughter tld me she was not allowed to come with me or she would get in trouble and started to cry as she wanted to come with me.  I rang child services and asked what I could do, and they told me I could legally take her from school but that would agravate the situation and to leave my daughter at school.  I think I have no options now but to go to court.  Does anyone know what I would have to do, someone has told me to apply for a contact order is that right?

Visitation rights for a Dad ?

Hi there.  I have recently seperated from my wife in Jan08.

About a month ago my wife moved her boyfriend into our house we both own and since then she has stopped me seeing my daughter.

Prior to this I was having my daughter every weekend.  She now refuses me visitation, does not bring my daughter to school, and has called child services saying I have done awful things to my daughter.  If I had done such awful things why was she letting her stay with me every weekend since the separation?

In addition I volunteer at my child's school in the classroom in a reading programme 4 days a week 30 mins a day.  I do this during my morning tea breaks, just to spend time with my daughter.  If the school thought I was any kind of a threat they would not allow me to be around 30 children.  I have notified the school of this situation and they have told me to carry on volunteering and not to stop.

What are my options legally to get visitation rights for my daughter.

Thanks.
