and their good neighbours the
STROUD COUNTRY CLUB.
Hosted by the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle in collaboration with the Community Partnership Initiative celebrating the World Youth Day Week 15-20 July, 2008, where some 500,000 young people from around the world will gather in Sydney.

Hosted by the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle in collaboration with Community Partnership Initiative Stroud is a historic beautiful Village of 587 people, some 70 minutes north of Newcastle in the Great Lakes Region of NSW
Come share the Spirit and Vision of 'SIGNS AND WONDERS'.
Like the Olympic Torch Relay, the World Youth Day Cross and Icon will journey around Australia in a countdown to the arrival of the Pope for World Youth Day week, where some 500,000 young people from around the world will gather in Sydney from July 15-20, 2008.

9.00am EXPERIENCE the Monastery, Conference Centre - performing space, hobbit and tree houses, Hermitage and poustinea, Aboriginal Corroboree and a Creativity Showcase of Arts, Crafts and Media
12 High noon 'Sacred Heart Skydive Spectacular' and 'Rainbow of Love' Hot Air Noon balloon, Tree of Life, Love Apple Seeds, Lady Liberty Light at Stroud Country Club Journey of the World Youth Day Cross and Icon through Stroud Village as 'Gift of Love' Skydiving Leap of Faith For Children. A celebrity tandem parachute jump from 14000 feet with highly respected 67 year old Aboriginal elder Fay Nelson AM, Director, Aboriginal peak body NAISDA Performing Arts College, and former SAS officer now Care Commando Richard Bosi. Natalie Barr (or another member of the Sunrise team) is invited to jump as well.
1.00pm Communal 'feast'- culinary arts, bush tucker, wholesome and healthy local Stroud food, drinks and refreshments
2.00pm EXPRESSION of Performing Arts…dance, music, song
4.00pm CommUNION celebration…UNITY in Diversity. Oneness
