Former model Heather Mills will receive a settlement of 25 million pounds ($A54.03 million)in her divorce from former Beatle Paul McCartney, London's Evening Standard newspaper said Friday.
The report comes ahead of a ruling due Monday at the High Court in London by judge Hugh Bennett, who was left to decide on the size of the settlement after the two sides failed to reach an amicable private agreement.
It had been reported that the divorce deal could be the most expensive in British legal history, with Mills claiming a share of up to 60 million pounds ($A129.67 million) of the ex-Beatles 825-million-pound ($A1.78 billion) fortune.
Mills, 40, married Sir Paul in 2002, and announced their separation four years later. They have a four-year-old daughter, Beatrice Milly.
Sir Paul, 65, was known to have tried during the divorce proceedings to stop Mills from revealing details of their marriage to the media, or selling her story to publishers.
The decision taken by Judge Bennett will be binding on both parties, but could be challenged at the Court of Appeal if one side is unhappy about it.
