Government Assent and Notice of increased fees

In Acts of Parliament assented to It is hereby notified, for general information, that Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of Her Majesty, assented on 26 May 2012 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:

No. 48 of 2012An Act to amend the Corporations Act 2001, and for other purposes.
(Corporations Amendment (Phoenixing and Other Measures) Act 2012). No. 49 of 2012An Act to amend the law relating to family assistance and social security, and for related purposes.
(Family Assistance and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2012). No. 50 of 2012An Act to amend the law relating to family assistance and veterans entitlements, and for other purposes.
(Family Assistance and Other Legislation Amendment
(Schoolkids Bonus Budget Measures) Act 2012). No. 51 of 2012An Act to amend the law relating to social security, family assistance, child support and veterans entitlements, and for related purposes.
(Social Security and Other Legislation Amendment (Disability Support Pension Participation Reforms) Act 2012). No. 52 of 2012An Act to amend the law relating to social security and Indigenous education, and for related purposes. (Social Security and Other Legislation Amendment (Income Support and Other Measures) Act 2012).

Biennial fee increases in the HCA, FCA, FMCA, Family Court, AAT and NNTT from 1 July 2012, 06 June 2012

Biennial increases in fees, effective from 1 July 2012 across a number of jurisdictions in Australia, were reported today in the Government Gazette (GN 22). The fee increases impact the High Court, Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court, Family Court (and other courts provided for by the Family Law Regulations 1984), Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the National Native Title Tribunal.
