Senator Ellison attended an event in Perth today along with 60 representatives from the West Australian business sector to discuss how the Child Support Agency can help employers understand

Today's event in Perth was the first of several to be held around Australia to build a new level of engagement between employers and the Child Support Agency.
About 2300 employers are registered with CSAOnline which is a secure online service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Senator Ellison saidEvery workplace in Australia was impacted by relationship breakdowns which could affect the well-being of individual employees and workplace productivity. The Child Support Agency can help employers reduce the impact on their employees and the workplace through initiatives such as the award-winning Staying Connected program and CSA Online.
The Child Support Agency's relationship with employers is important because employers play a critical role in helping the Agency ensure children receive the financial support they need through
child support payments.
Events such as the one today help us to better understand how the Child Support Agency and employers can work together more closely, Employers are continually taking up products and services offered by the Child Support Agency.
"Staying Connected' is a half-day workplace program to help men deal with separation.
