Examples of Family Reports with all identifying details changed so that the parties are anonymous.

Family Report Example - Fraser

People sometimes ask about Family Reports: What do they look like? What do they involve? etc.

Attached is an example copy (PDF) of a Family Report. It is composite of several documents, including several introductory sheets and a resume of the report writer.

Every case is different, but it can be useful to see examples of mediations, parenting plans, orders, affidavits, family reports, etc. Seeing examples and samples can help demystify, in some small measure, the procedures and the processes. And from them a person can get an idea of some of the issues covered and to consider in how they behave and how they develop their own case.

All names, places, dates and other identifying information have been changed in the attached.

Specialist's Opinion

One of the initial stages in the child responsive program is a Child and Family meeting, it usually starts with a family consultant meeting briefly with parents and then spending some time with the children, both individually and together.

This concerns me when the family consultant interviews the child separately then writes a report on that event.

If the consultant holds bias, could it be possible that a family consultant could fabricate or embellish what was said by the child?

If what was said by the child to the family consultant is admissible in court, then how does one obtain the facts to substantiate the allegations being said.

There is no way by transcript or by any other means to obtain this information!

In my matter "Her Honour" has ordered a family report. How is this best handled? Are these examples still available as they dont download?
is there any examples of family reports available as im unable to download the ones on here
