Providing Financial Details

Ex using delaying tactics

My "other half" is failing to provide documents that have been requested (as in financial), he apparently also "forgets" to attend his solicitor's appointments.  I am presuming that this is another delaying tactic, but if this continues, what power or action does the Family Court have when dealing with one party who does this? Have you seen this happen?

Lack of response

Am I to assume that you also have a lawyer? Are the documents that you have requested his bank statements, credit card statements, super and his F13? etc etc.

This would appear to be a 'normal' delaying tactic, however he could have genuine difficulties finding the info or to be in a state of shock. It could be in response to action you have taken.

Hard to say with out knowing more.
Have you already started court action?

How to obtain financial info

I now know more about your case; I would do the following:
Seek interim orders for spousal maintenance. This mean he has to fight you in court by providing financial information by the way of a F13.
It also gives you a reason to subpoena his bank, credit card and business records.

You may need a Mareva injunction to stop him selling off assets.
You know how to contact me - we have met & spoken to each other before (Bankstown RSL).
