Interim orders hearings Family Court Vic

I am looking for some advice regarding an interim order hearing at the Vic Family Court for time child is in care of parents next week. I have applied for SRL but am waiting for it to come through.

I am confident with the content of my case, the Act and supportive case's but I am mostly looking for advice on the procedures, settings, conduct etc.

I understand that it before a Registrar who will make interim orders.

I believe my ex will have her solicitor and a barrister.

Am I right to say it will be in an open court room and run similar to a normal hearing in that both parties give evidence/submissions.

Is it under oath or from the bar. Can I present letters or does it have to be affidavit. Is there cross examination or just questions from the registrar.

Any assistance would be appreciated
