singel mother mowing from WA toQLD

Add Topic
Dear friends,
I would like to know if my daughter can move from Western Australia to Queensland with her 16 month old son without permission of biological father?
- she is not and never was married to father,
- hi does not support her and his son, hi was forced by Center link 3 months ago pay $ 70/forthrightly
- she is living in hardship, paying a $1.000 a month rent  and she is left with little   money to take care for her son properly
- hi does not have accommodation (renting with other people), drug user and poker machines addict

If moving to our place, she can have accreditation's for free, which will guarantied that she can take 100% care for her and her son

I will appreciated your advise

Hi ruzena,

Although I realise that you are asking this out of a parents love for their daughter as you want to protect her and ensure she is financially, physically and emotionally supported, relocation is a very difficult topic and one which most people hold quite strong views about.  If your daughter moves from Western Australia to Queensland (the other side of the Country) when will the child be given an opportunity to see his father?  There is no one who will ever be able to replace or make up for his real father!!

I am assuming that you mean that the father has been paying Child Support for his son for the past 3 months which means that he does support his child.  If your daughter and the child's father are no longer together, then the father does not have to financially assist your daughter.  This also makes me think that your daughter and the child's father have only been separated for a short period of time.  Is this correct?

Does your daughter have a good network of friends in WA?  How long has she been living there?  Is she part of any church groups that can offer her support?

Are you saying the father is a drug user and poker machine addict or that the father is living in a shared accommodation with a drug user and a poker machine addict?

I am sure this is true but again I ask….when is your daughters son going to see his father?  Who is going to pay for the airline tickets, accommodation etc for them to see each other?  I'm assuming that if the father is paying $70 per fortnight to your daughter for his son that he doesn't have a high paying job?

I'm sorry I have been of little help to you.

Cheers
