Hi
I have been separated/divorced for 4 1/2 years
I have a 16 year old daughter in year 10 at a private school for which I have been paying 50% fees
When I first became separated I had care 5 nights a fortnight (no parenting plan in place)
This time has dwindled down to nothing ( not my choice)
I have never missed a CSA payment
My ex understates her income ( cash via house cleaning) I have never complained
My ex has applied to CSA for payments based on 100% care
My daughter has estranged herself from me

I have kept this brief but am happy to elaborate on any points
My question is can I fight the CSA ruling re 100% care even though I am willing to provide at least 33% and do I have to keep paying school fees for my daughter who doesnt want any part of me and has a pretty poor academic record?
If it were me, the first thing you should be doing is trying to build your relationship back with your daughter.

If your ex is indeed under declaring her income, you need to be able to provide evidence of this. She isn't doing you any favours so why should you. Plus her actions of not declaring income also affect the everyday person, not just you.

I agree, unfortunately text messages dont get replied to and phone calls dont get answered.  Re the understated income one needs proof which is very hard to do.
Not that hard to do at all.

Really and what are you basing this on?Where do you suppose he gets the information from?
Guest you really need to get outside more if you are asking those questions. Which rock have you been stuck under for the last 50 years. We have entered the modern age my friend. Think outside the square.

Guest as you are posting from Oregan you may not be aware of the modern world down here in Australia, we have the means to find these things out. What were your thoughts on the presidential developments there today?

Hi Weighbridge,

The CSA will assess the care percentage based on where your daughter is actually staying,

So unfortunately, regardless if you are willing to give 33% care or even if you have a court order specifying the care arrangement the CSA will completely disregard this and base your payments on the actual arrangements in place.

I think your Moderator rights have made you believe you're some sort of God Liberi.  Was there really any need to provide such sarcastic replies to a very valid question?  BTW, would you mind answering the question by providing a proper reply which provides examples of what the OP can do to gather the information you allude to?
