Changeover Issues

Add Topic
About 6 months ago I met my ex at a park which was the halfway point for changeover. The last time I did this my ex's new partner headbutted me whilst I was holding my infant daughter so this obviously was no longer an option. We changed to a contact centre not far away but know my ex is offering the kids better options on my visitation weekends and my youngest is refusing to come. The contact centre at Relationships Australia say it is their policy to disallow contact under these circumstances. The last visitation my ex called the police to the contact centre, then to my house for welfare issues (which there are none) then to my mothers house at midnight that night again for welfare issues.

I have instructed the centre given their policy and my ex's games I cannot use their service anymore and propose to use the police station. However, I can predict the next changeover where I will be at the police station and she will be at the contact centre unwilling to budge. Bear in mind the aforementioned park is the designated changeover point listed in the orders.

Any suggestions on the best way forward?
Please tell me that you reported the headbutting incident to your local Police?

Of course I did.. and after months of rehabilitation, seizures, emotional angst and dental treatment he was found not guilty. That's the system for you!
If she won't agree to the police station then may be you will have no choice but to apply to the court to have the designated changeover location changed.

That's what I'm figuring Frenzy.. However, I lost my job because of all this and do not have any money so will need to represent myself.. I'm no idiot and have a university education so this process doesn't daunt me but I want to be as prepared as possible which will take time, how much, I'm currently unsure.

I may need to ride this out as best as possible in the meantime.
