Dangerous sex in NSW

The new laws passed in NSW in relation to adults consenting to sex then crying fowl is no different to the new domestic violence laws in that all you have to do is 'perceive a threat'.

I suppose the answer to one of these outlandish laws is to not have SEX !

Absolutely ridiculous - brings us back to the dark ages of stupid laws.

Rape in my opinion is a violent and forceful act. It is NOT sex by coercion! If that was the case then every married man would be guilty of it at some stage or another.

The cases where footy players are taking women to their rooms then the women are claiming rape is all too ridiculous. We women are all taught that if you go to someones room, and combine that with alcohol then something is BOUND to happen. Maybe they need a lesser charge of sexual misconduct, or as will be popularly known as "sexual stupidity".

When you are swimming down a creek and an eel bites your cheek, that's a Moray.
It's a bit like walking through busy traffic and then complaining when you get hit by a car.

You put yourself in a crazy situation, where you had little control. Chances were pretty high the end outcome would result.

These laws do nothing to help women and men create equality.
I can see it now, a man and a woman meets at a club, they get on like a house on fire get back to his or her appartment and then just before it happens the guy pulls out the sex kit, consent form, breathalizer, DNA test kit, witness with still and video camera.  Once everything is right to go the guy says, "damn I forgot the condom"
Isn'tlifegrand nailed it, but to take it further, I suggest no person has casual sex without their lawyer present.
Basically all this law is saying is that women are incapable of taking responsibility for themselves. I wonder how my defence in court would go if I murder someone and then say "well I was drunk at the time and not responsible for it?" And to go one step further, if my victim was male and drunk at the same time then maybe I could pin it on him as men are obviously responsible for whatever happens wether they are inebriated or not!!!

And no I am not planning on murdering my ex just to test this out……….  :|  :ninja:

You wouldn't drink and drive because you can no longer claim 'diminished responsibility' if you kill someone in a road accident.

The answer is don't Drink and have Sex!
I have a great idea, they have machines in clubs that enable people to see if they have had to much to drink before they drive, they should now have similiar machines to see if sex is permissable, it can be called the sexalizer.
Hmmm.

Perhaps a breathalised chastity belt.

Although you still have to be careful especially if the result is oral, wasn't there a guy in the U.S. that had to go to court because his taddies were frozen and turkey basted ???

Mind you what a wonderful tool for all those who want a donor, have the guy charged with rape, then an AVO when the kids born because they think the dad may be violent then sit back and claim the profits.

I reckon I'll be single for some time yet.
In this tolerant society and the acceptance af gay and lesbian couples,
just wondering how the rape laws would apply to them - just a thought!

Oh dear!
