The way it works is the directors have meetings with the senior executive and they tell them what the priorities really are, that is passed to the team leaders and that's what they do - but of course it is all equally important.  If a director has the timidity to say look this is causing problems - then the reply is - can't you do your job - we will find someone who can - basically they don't want to know about it - if the proverbial hits the fan then they have plausible deniability.  Welcome to how the public service works - worse case scenario - sure - you can bet at least some of it is going on.  How do you handle it - you must keep at therm and at them - if you do that it will affect change - they basically rely on people giving up.

Its disgraceful you have to do it, it should have been carefully explained right from the start.

Like I said maybe the CSA should move to all cases being decided by a Judge.

And for the record, as I said previously, I an not happy with review rights being removed - I think its disgusting personally.  I know for example 1/3 of appeals against knock-backs on disability pensions are overturned on appeal.  For whatever reason they get it wrong a lot.

That said I believe you should have it clearly explained why you owe the money - exactly what the technical glitch was and how they calculated the new amount.

 Mate you have got to keep at them - that is inexcusable.

Not discussing it with him is WRONG.  He should really take then to task about that.  Its disgusting though he should have to do that - they should have explained clearly what was going on and not done it until they discussed it with him.
