Still no news

I went onto the FMC website and there is one case being heard in the last two days. I have decided there must only be court dates for emergencies in the FMC. Why would a Judge give a promise on when the case would be decided then not follow through?

I bought all the uniforms and books and everything else as I could not wait any longer!

Has anyone had a court decision without any notice of attending court? I would assume she would have to give me 2 - 4 weeks notice of a decision.

This is also holding up CSA's decision on care… What a mess!

Annie most registries are operating with standard cases (not emergencies) - according to the FMC site. Different registries will have different case loads.

In general if you have not been given an attendance date then the decision will be sent out.

Have you checked the file search facility on the Courts site to see if there any dates scheduled?

Why haven't you contacted the Registry Manager and asked either to speak to or get a message to the FM's Associate and just ask when the decision will be available? That might be a lot quicker than posting questions on this site.

It is the right forum, but why vent when the ablity to get an answer is in your hands?

Considering contacting the judge's associate in a very reasonable tone. It is they whom write the judgements after instructions from the judge.
In the Family Court I heard a senior judge tell some barristers that he had three judgemnents to write in his Christmas holidays. So they are pretty pressed.
The Registry Manager could possibly be contacted. It is I feel the associate who knows when the judgement will be handed down.
A rushed judgement might not represent what you wish for.
May peace be with you until then

That is why I have been not phoning to find out what is going on plus the applicant has 2 barristers and a solicitor and there is an ICL plus her Barrister. I just wish the Father could communicate as me not seeing my eldest son and him not seeing the three in my care is just not on.

BUt he will not so i will have to find peace and just keep going ahead. In the end it is going to be so hard for the children in our care to restart a relationship with their estranged parent and that scares me for them and us.

Thanks

Then contact the ICL and ask them when the judgement will be available. It does not matter one iota what the other sides representation has been. If a judgement has been promised for a particular date then ask for it.

Suggest to the ICL that it is the best interests of thechildren for aprompt judgement to be handed down. Could the ICL please facilitate this in the best interests of all?
