Read the orders

This is a sort of let of steam but provides a word of caution.

When you get the orders, please read the orders. When parties are toing and froing whilst "in court" trying to reach agreement, it is the judicial officer, who has the final word.

Just because you think you know what is in the orders, because maybe the other side capitulated, doesn't necessarily mean that your request was the one granted.

So when the orders come through, especially when the judicial officer has said, I will consider these, and make my decision in chambers (the next day), READ THEM.
Amen! And ignorance of the terms of same cannot be excused given they available online (Commonwealth Court Portal) and sent to you (or your Solicitor). Noncompliance with same is a factor re costs orders pursuant to s.117(2A) FLA.
