Why worry about it? The psychologist should be able to make his own assessment with or with out a second person in the room and make a report for the courts. Do you want a negative report on her psychactric health or a positive one?

If you don't talk about it, how can anyone help you move forward!
I think it goes against mum "needing" a support person. She's trying to play the fragility card.

They will get thrown out if they speak or try to influence the outcome.

I agree with the fact of fragility, but i would tend to think the psychologist would not be influenced by a second person in the room but would look at it as what it is in reality, and I would say it is some one to pervert the out come of the assessment at a later date if needed. I dont know the circumstances of why  a report is being done in the first place.

If you don't talk about it, how can anyone help you move forward!
