Appearing in court without providing financial information

Add Topic
Im back again your local resident neighbourhood pest LOL..I was wondering what happens at a mention hearing for a financial matter if time has lapsed for one party to submit a financial statement and supporting affadavit? Does it still go ahead? Would that person who has failed to provide their financial details usually appear or run for the hills? Im wondering whether this person involved would even bother showing up as time is up to provide docs. What happens if they dont show? And will they get a second chance to submit required info?
HubbyPays,

If the Applicant does not provide the information the case will probably be dismissed.

If the Respondent - then a range of outcomes could result for not providing information from  having a more adverse decision being made against them or ordered to provide the information or sent to goal.

In the first instance directions for another hearing are sent out. Should a partynot front, then they will proceed thus:

This is generally regarded as an 'undefended hearing'. The court looks to see if the Respondent has filed any documentation and deals with the matter.

It is highly unlikely a party will be sent to goal for not fronting to a hearing, unless custody of a child is involved.

The consequences of not appearing at one's own hearing don't warrant such thoughts.
