Parent going over seas for 12 months

Bm would like to take the skids over seas for 12 months on a working holidays,,

Is our demands out of the possibility

# 12 months before going over seas the mother is to give the father custody.

# Once the mother and child return to Australia contact will resume in the way of 50/50
perhaps the father should consider applying to the court that the children are not taken out of the country for such a long period.

your suggestions above appear to me to be unachievable.
Has this even been discussed with the father?  Are there Court Orders already in place?  Why should the children be denied of their rights to a relationship with the mother for 12 months when the mother will not have gone anywhere.  I would be a little concerned if I was this father having such an arrangement proposed to me.

I needed help with my case and couldn't afford a lawyer and found these guys invaluable  srl-resources.org
The mother seems to thing it will be okay for the father to do have contact with the children for 12 months
Dh is about to send this to her That 12 months prior to bm leaving the skids come … If it is acceptable for the kids to be away from a parent for a year, why can't it be her? ….. How do the kids feel about going abroad for a year?
I think that bm seeked legal advise and has gone very quiet on the topic.

Bm wouldnt leave the skids behind, she doesnt want DH to have contact as it is
Hi,
I think you should concern with a attorney because this is a sensitive matter, and he is only to give you the best suggestion, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact ????????? today for a consultation.
Family Law practise in houston must be tough going, Christina…

Perhaps you might consider advertising in Houston, rather than Australia?
Does your husband know you are calling his children skids? Is Scott321 and Blahish the same person?
How does this kind of tit for tat arrangement work for the children? I fail to see how shunting them off to your place for 12 months (with someone that calls them skids) as a "deal" is in anyway in the best interests of the children.

The children will probably be greatly enriched by living abroad for a year with the people they normally reside with - your husband should see this as a valuable and educational life experience for his children.
Samba, this site is not too keen on the use of webspeak as such, but the way you have attacked a poster for refering to stepchildren as skids would tend to indicate that you spend time on a another forum that is essentially about babies. That forum is well known for its "distaste" for the use of the term of endearment "skids". If you checked around other sites, and yes, even those American ones, you will see that the use of skids is well accepted.

But then, if you are a frequenter of that forum that is essentially for babies, then you are possibly a frequenter of its single mothers forum where they speak openly and blatently about reducing a fathers time with his children, and offer each other ideas on how to maximise the child support that they receive as well.

Samba, you complain about this site being pro-father, but all your commentary is about pro-mother, and as exclusive of the father as possible, especially if an accusation of dv can be thrown in to the mix as well.

update

So it is okay for the father to not see the HIS children for 12 months..   But not for the Mother..    Really go back to EB!!

So the update is that Dh send Bm a letter stating that when Bm can provide more details of when and where, what school the children will be attending ect!  Then we will seek legal advice and start mediation for re-location orders.. ..   We have not heard back from Bm, i dont think this was how she planned it to be.

In all seriousness, if you can't be bothered using proper terms for whatever the gobbledegook is that you've posted above, then I can't be bothered reading what you write. Is it really such a hard thing to use proper words?
I don't find the term skids offensive like samba.

However, all webspeak and all those abbreviation annoy me, as I find it hard to work out what someone is actually talking about, so I am with Craigo.
