CS debt caused by C$A not using information provided

All you smart guys, I need some advice.

I have 2 CS cases, let me call them Ms A and Ms B. I went through a Change of Assessment with Ms A, and during which I provided information on my salary. The information was my employment contract. The reason for the COA was a change of job with a substantial salary increase. The CSA used the salary information I provided and increased my CS payments for Ms A.

Now 2 years roll past and I lodge a few late tax returns.

The COA have now adjusted my assessment for 2 years with Ms B and issued me a massive debt.

The problem is very simple. The C$A failed to use the salary information that I provided them 3 years ago.

So what can I do?

A person who can't pay gets another person who can't pay to guarantee that he can pay. Like a person with two wooden legs getting another person with two wooden legs to guarantee that he has got two natural legs. It don't make either of them able to do a walking-match. Charles Dickens
It's looks as if you were working on estimates whether part of a change of assessment or not and now that you have filed tax returns they have reconciled those estimates. You can go through the objection process, SSAT appeal or as you are going back further than 18 months, apply to a court for a review, to try to get some justice however you need to have a case that the assessment or decisions were unfair. Can you come up with such a case?

I could work a strategy of an unjust assessment, however I thought that there could be more merit with a strategy of C$A incompetancy. Is there a C$A rule that says that they must use the most recent information provided? Is there a statute of limitations on how long they can sit on information before using it? They sat on my salary information for over 2 years!!!

I am frustrated that the responsibility is upon me to provide the most recent information to the C$A, however the C$A appears to have no responsibility to use it in a timely fashion.

Thanks for any further advice.
