Anyone know what happens here??
Are you in a remote locality - ie: Solicitor an hour away.
Was it a legal aid conference (mediation)?
Is there more information about your case in another thread?
Am in Sth East Qld.
Conference was a private mediator/barrister paid by x - it was a bullying session. Will try to tag other thread.
Ex allowed me & 14 yr old to see 4 yr old today at the park, he supervised for two hours, (not needed but now an on going excuse to not allow me to see child) first time in 16 weeks. was great to see her.

That is a lot of potential funding and remember Legal Aid only fund if there is a possibility of a reasonable outcome.  In general Legal Aid will only fund property matters if they are going to get a return and if this is substantial may also ask for the childrens matters to be paid for.

As regards geography of the solicitor there can of course be many reasons for this, you can ask for a change but should remember you are not paying and therefore Legal Aid will have the last word on this one.

How is it claimed that you signed Consent orders when you were not present and how do these relate to your orders which were judicially determined?
At present I have been told by a solicitor that my chances at being succesful are very good. (All I want is the opportunity for myself and my eldest to have regular and meaningful contact and  relationship the 4 year old) I was the primary carer of both children prior to the separation in 2011. Im unsure how consent orders were signed by me on a day I didnt attend. Im asking legal aid the same question. The orders that were determined were that children resided primarily with the applicant father and that he have sole parental responsibility, he is only the 4 year olds bio father, it was a 10 year relationship, 1 child of mine from previous relationship, now 14, both girls. Judicially prior to this he didnt have sole parental responsibility and eldest child was residing with me at time orders made, but he lied to court about childs living arrangements and made out they were living both with him.
