Use of Court Stamps by Registry

In what circumstances are Court Registry Stamps / Seals used on documents

In relation to the use of court stamps that they use when documents are handed in to the registry.

Is document handling in relation to stamping documents the same at all courts? i.e the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, local Magistrates Court and High Court?

Does the Registry in the Family Court refer to the stamp as a "seal"?

Is there any difference between a "Stamp" as used by the registry on receiving documents and a Court Seal?

Is it mandatory that all documents are stamped when filed?

Is every page stamped?

Are documents legally required to be stamped to ensure they are "Valid"?

In a set of documents within a FILE is every page required to be stamped by the registry?

If there are documents in a file that are NOT stamped does that make them less valid than documents that are stamped?

Does the stamp used by any registry require the registry location and or words to indicate it is a court registry within the stamp body?

Is there any legal requirement for the size and type of stamp used?

Some registries might use a stamp that contains a location and date. Seals generally do not

Applications and evidence - Yes. However non stamped 'evidence' can be admitted during a hearing subject to the decison of the bench

'Slip Rule' can be applied

Location - No

No - providng it in general conforms to that particular Courts requirements. Since registry stamps/seals are 'controlled' and made by one manufacturer they are likely to be very similar
